I’m Dutch. 32. Been living in Vietnam for years. First in Hanoi, now in Hoi An. Speak o-kay Vietnamese (cũng được: 6/10). Love motorbike trips. What else…
Got my own electronic music channel (subscribe or you’re not welcome). Pretty dangerous sense of humour. Proud climber of rocks. Former LinkedIn bro (still respect the grind). And soon-to-be wildly successful coliving owner.

Why I started this.
I did all kinds of weird jobs. Pedicab driver. Mine worker. Or whatever you call the guy who climbs lightning masts at sports stadiums to replace light bulbs. They paid the bills, sure, but they also tied me down to one place.
Remote work let me travel. But the perfect job still didn’t exist. So I kept pursuing new careers: cold calling strangers, teaching English, copywriting, you name it. Some I hated. Others, freeing.
It took me 8 jobs and more than 10 years to realise I wasn’t looking for a different job. I was looking for a different way to live.
So I opened Rice & Co.
A home for 15-20 remote workers to live, work and connect.
